- “Winter has brought upon the farmers the season of rigorous reflection and planning. Our reflections remind us how grateful we are for the incredible community connected with our CSA program. You have shared your enthusiasm for the growing of organic food close to your home at this place of peace, the Ignatius Jesuit Centre.”;

— Jan. 2008 Edition - “I am filled with gratitude for the phenomenal enthusiasm, joy, support, and creative efforts put forward by our garden team, staff, and volunteers to make this CSA work and thrive. Operating a financially sustaining farm is no small task, and every year I am more convinced farms can only survive if they have a supportive community around them that sees them through the years of plenty and scarcity.”;

— Nov. 2006 Edition - “CSA’s are a key activity in a food security program, so by being a CSA member, and buying local, organic vegetables, you are already contributing to food security. But food security should be for everyone. That is why many CSA's include a social justice component to their work, and try to make their food accessible to low income people who may not have the means to drive out to a rural area to pick up fresh local produce. Here at Ignatius, we have tried to contribute to social justice in our own small way.”
